I have an old flojet that was used a few times years ago.. it was given to me and I am not sure it is up to the task?? I hooked it up to power, and it sounds weak, the impeller and blades are turning just not sure how fast... The motor while in my hand does not seam to have a lot of torque.. perhaps thats normal?
Not looking to have an issue when I need it, so I may be getting another..
I generally use hook ups, but the few times it was used, I needed a 50’ run uphill..
What is the best, Sanicon, flojet, other ????
thanks in advance
Joe
WE also have a flojet that we use once or twice a year. I'm wondering if you put fluid (pulled the sewer drain) before you turned it on, ours seems to turn slow until it gets lubrication.
Actually, this is our second one, the first died when the plug drilled for the sewer pipe and valve from the tank came through and jammed it, cooked the motor. Can't blame the flojet for that!
I've used ours to drain the tanks into the house toilet if we couldn't hit a dumpsite before returning home.
