I have been tossing around the addition of a shock kit to my 38RL... It looks like I decided to go with the Lippert version , it has pretty good reviews on the RV.net forum , not to mention , I can get it locally for $210.00 complete..
My question is that I need to use self tappers to mount the top clamps to the side of the frame... Looking at the drawings that I was able to get for the 36RL , It looks like ALL the tanks are well in front of the axles.... AM I safe to assume that they are the same for the 38RL ?

Don't think it will raise the back end at all , but here is a screen shot of it... I am having issues attaching links for some reason....

Take the under pleastic down and see how close the tanks are to the edge.....
What kind of shock kit are your considering? Do you have a link? I've been needing to raise the back end about 2". that might work...
The aftermarket shock kits will have absolutely no affect on the height of your coach.

Unless you went to air shocks, and that would be a serious mistake.

I can't lower the truck...I really should consider adding air shocks to the truck to raise it about 2" as well. Still exploring ideas with the RV lift...Open to suggestions.
What's the reason you need to raise both the truck and camper 2"??? Are you bumping the jacks?
Here is the Joy Rider system I just purchased. Stock picture
not my unit. They can be mounted at a 15 degree angle.

Do you have any more adjustment on your pin box ? I was running about 3" nose high.. I adjusted the pinbox down 1 set (1-1/2") and that brought the rear up about 3" or so... I only ran one time after , but it looked great to my eye!

when I added center point to my trailer it raised it about 4". The only other way would be to weld blocks between your spring hangers and frame or install re arched springs. I personally would add air bags to the truck to keep it level
My last fifth wheel ran pin high also... When I took it to Mor/Ryde to have the IS installed , the first thing they did was measure it all while hiked up..
They built a sub frame for the IS to have the trailer level.. we were within 1/4" front to back when hooked up once done. .
