Don't panic...The park won't fill that fast. They assign the slots. You don't get to pick (or at least we could not).

There are around 150 spaces. You should have until late April or early May before you start running into problems.

The park officially opens in May.

Sally,

If you leave a message on their answering machine, Cindy will give you a call back the next time she is in the office.

Hey Vaughn, I am a Redwood Club member and would love to offer up my band "Rum Boogie" for you Friday or Saturday night entertainment. We play the best songs from the 60s, 70s and Motown. If you are interested let me know and I will give you further.

Thanks.

Randy

Is the Rally Registration on the site yet? If so, where will I find it? If not, when will it be posted and where?

Thanks for all the work y'all are doing to make it a success.

The registration process and form is being finalised and will be available on or before Feb 15th.

However, you can call and confirm a site at the campground and either talk to Cindy, or leave a message on their voicemail.

Some Rally updates ......

MorRyde will again be offering factory tours this year. It will be Thursday 7/20 in mid morning and possibly early afternoon depending on how many people would like to do the tour. Gary assured me he could accommodate however many want d to come, so let's surprise him and everybody go!! If you haven't been before, the tour is very worthwhile and is not a "sales pitch". You will, however, get a very good understanding of what all they build and the engineering and quality that goes into it. One of the reasons that all of us who have their products become some of their best references.

If you would like to go, there is no charge but I do need to start getting a head count. Please email me at rallychairman@redwoodrvowners.com and let me know if you are coming.

Registration !! We've already got a bunch, keep them coming !, one thing - the number of registrations is not the same as the Campground confirmations that I have from Cindy. Remember - it is a two step process. Besides registering here with us, YOU MUST CALL THE CAMPGROUND AND RESERVE A SITE. Do not do it online, call them and tell them you are part of the Redwood Rally so that you get the Rally rate. You can come in early and stay late, but if you don't call, you may not have a site.

More to come, working on some off-site excursions and places to go, will let you all in on more later.

Our life has gotten a bit more hectic as we are now in the process of selling a house and getting rid of "stuff" to be fulltime by May 3. But we'll pull it off and see all of you in Shipshewana !!

Al Peterson from Escapees Smart Weigh will be at the Rally from 7/16 thru 7/23 to do Rig weighing.

We are going to do it a little differently from last year to avoid any bottlenecks at the entrance. Al will be staying in Site 12 with his rig and site 11 next to the North Pavilion will remain open for weighing. This is a pull-through and will make it easy for you to get the rig weighed on your way into your site and then come back over with the truck later to get it done. We're thinking this will make everything flow much better.

If you would like to get your rig weighed, please contact Al directly so that he knows when you are due in and can schedule. You can email him at arp43a@gmail.com

If you have not weighed your Rig, I encourage everyone to do so. You'll probably be a bit surprised B)
