We are all so excited the Redwood Rally will be here before we know it.

Just a few reminders and updates:

-- Remember the registration for the Rally is a 2-step process. You MUST call the Shipshewana Campground directly to reserve your campsite--make sure to tell them you are with the Redwood Rally. Second step is to complete the Registration form on the ROG website. We have multiple registrations that have done one but not the other. You are not officially registered until you have completed BOTH steps.

** If you have reserved your campsite, but not completed your ROG registration; do that today. Take advantage of the Early Bird saving which will expire the end of March.

-- Back by popular demand... There will be a Wine and Painting Event either Friday or Saturday afternoon. Ladies who have done this previously really enjoyed it. Please let us know if you are interested in this. Space is limited and we need to let them know how many will be attending

-- Again, we will be having a Potluck on Saturday evening. This has always been a great time together. Be thinking about what you would like to share for the Potluck Dinner.

-- A great way to meet even more people and be a part of the Redwood Rally is to volunteer. Let us know if you would like to help. There are jobs for anyone that is willing to step up and be a part of the team. We can use people to greet attendees and people to register attendees. We will also need help with the Potluck dinner (set up, etc.). This year we will be able to start every day hanging out with other Redwood owners; so someone to help with set up the morning pastries would be great. We would love to have enough volunteers that no one needs to give much time.

-- Additionally, Terry Cooper, the Mobile RV Professor, will again be offering his 3 day maintenance course at a special price. Everyone who has taken this has said it was well worth the time and expense to become very familiar with your rig and it's systems. This course will be Saturday, Sunday, and Monday before the Rally. Cindy at the campground has plenty of space available if you want to come in early and take the course. To sign up contact the Cooper's directly at mobilervacademy.com

Let me know if you are interested in the Wine and Painting fun.

Email me if you you would like to volunteer and help at the Rally.

I can be contacted at rallychairman@redwoodrvowners.com.

As you contemplate what you want to bring to the potluck, here's a quick update on the potluck items people have said they probably/maybe/are thinking about bringing.

If people would lean to protein items that maybe a good idea. Have lots of salads and side dishing in the works. I'm also detecting a limited amount of dessert selection so far., which is troubling I'm sure for some.

NOTE: This accounts for only 1/2 of the people who have registered and we are just above 1/2 capacity so I'm sure there is more to come......

  • Aunt Karens Potato Salad
  • bacon wrapped jalapenos
  • Baked Beans x2
  • Broccoli-Coliflower Salad
  • Brocolli Coleslaw
  • cheesy potatoes
  • Corn salad
  • Cowboy Beans
  • Dessert
  • Green Salad and Ceaser Salads
  • Hamburger Noodle Dish
  • lentils
  • Linguine salad, probably
  • Passing appetizers while people are waiting in line
  • Pasta Salad
  • pecan bars
  • Pulled Pork
  • Salad
  • some kind of salad
  • Taco Salad
  • Vegetable salad x2

Just trying to be helpful.
