Well, if we are on the road and have our new 3901MB we will try to be there.
Still have not listed the house yet, alot to do yet.

Hope all goes well, as it will be great to see some of the new models at the Rally.

I left a message at the Shipshewana campground a few weeks ago, they called me last week and confirmed my 2017 Rally Reservation.

I have a structural problem with my Redwood, up front on the left side where they put the "Cut" and "H" Trim the wall is starting to bulge and get a step between both sides of the cut.
I contacted Redwood customer service and sent pictures. They reviewed the pictures and said they needed to get it to the service center to repair. I told them I would not be back in Indiana till the 2017 Rally.
They said that would be fine but would need to get it in the shop for at least a week prior to the Rally.
Well I got to thinking and talked to a travel agent friend and have worked out an Alaska trip with their group which includes 5 days of tour bus and rail travel seeing Alaska and then a 7 Day Alaskan cruise. The trip would depart to Fairbanks, AK on July 4th, 2017 end in Vancouver BC on July 16th, 2017.
I contacted Redwood and asked if I could drop my Redwood off Monday July 3rd and pick it up on Monday July 17th, then I could move to the Redwood Rally for the rest of the week.
Redwood customer service said that should work and they would confirm.

Looking forward to a great summer 🙂

Congratulations on the Alaska trip!! It's on my list soon. Looking forward to hear how RW does the repairs. We were one of the lucky ones that had not developed this stress crack BUT last month on our way to Disney it finally showed up on the door side upper slide. Not quite a straight crack but on an angle slanted towards the front.
I will try the moldings in spring to hide it and hope it doesn't turn into what yours did. Sounds like you have a few broken welds or maybe they just forgot to weld.

We should have the first details out by the end of January, however you can make a reservation at the campground, by calling them starting January 7th.

Rally Week this year will be Mon-Sat July 17-23 with the official start of planned events on Wednesday. We've decide to start one day earlier this year because there was just too much crammed into 3 days the last couple of years.

I will plan the schedule so that Wednesday won't be a "Can't miss this" day for those that won't be in until Thursday.

There will be more on the Rally in the January Newsletter. We should also have the Rally Registration form ready for our ROG website and also the Redwood Website around early February. Some "tweeking" is necessary to make things easier to keep track of.

As a reminder to all ~ Registering for the Rally is a 2-step process. You must call Shipshewana Campground directly to reserve a site and tell them it is for the Redwood Rally and ALSO complete the Registration Form on our ROG website. Until you do both, you are not officially registered as coming.

The Registration Info will be posted in February.

Great! This will give us an idea of how to plan. We met Jay Cauble in Florida and suggested we attend.
See you there!

Greetings Oriana,

Any updates on who will be at this years Rally? (i.e. Vendors, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Training, etc)?

How about events scheduled for the Rally?

It's the end of the month 😉

There is a Rally update in the newsletter. Still working on individual vendors. MorRyde and Lippert will both be back. Extra day added to Rally, seminar schedule will be more relaxed than last year.

Registration form will be up on Redwood site by around February 15

More o come in a month or so.

GipCTravelers et alia,

Vaughan Fitch (Piperguy) has recently assumed the position of Rally Chairman.

Jay & Linda Cauble, on very short notice, arranged an amazing rally in 2016, so the bar for future rallies is set rather high. Vaughan has big shoes to fill.

Since assuming the position, Vaughan has worked diligently arranging a schedule, vendors, presenters, meals, etc. He has made unbelievable progress towards making the 2017 rally the best ever, but is still following up new leads and has many details to finalise.

Yes, we are approaching the end of January, but we are a volunteer organisation and are currently a couple of weeks behind my original goal, but Vaughan and the Board of Directors are working diligently towards arranging a fabulous rally in July 2017.

Vaughan and Ken are currently developing an on-line registration form, which I hope to have online by mid-February.

Please remember that attending the National Rally is a 2-step process. You must call the campground to reserve a site. Cindy will require a credit card, but does not process payment until you arrive, or do not show. The 2nd step is completing the ROG registration, once we get it online.

With respect to a schedule, vendors, presentations, etc I will defer to Vaughan to promulgate the information once he has finalised the contracts.
