A Big Thank you to Lisa, Ken and the volunteers for a great rally this year. Everything ran smoothly. Thanks to Redwood for sending Randy and his service team to the rally to complete repairs on our units and thank you to Lippert for their service work as well.

Hats off to Lisa, George and the rest of the volunteers for a great rally. This was our third year and we always enjoy rekindling old friendships and making new ones.

This year my band had the honors of providing the entertainment on Friday night. I know we had fun and we hope you enjoyed the music. Sorry we had to leave early Saturday morning as we were scheduled to perform elsewhere that afternoon.

We had a great time except for one set back. Although we submitted an online request for service and then modified our request later, some how we were passed over.

Our scheduled service time was 3:45 Thursday and Chris showed up around 3, we talked about our coach for 30 minutes and then he left. We figured someone would return at our scheduled time. That was not the case. So while everyone was talking about the great service from Randy and his crew, we never got the chance to see them.

We are a little disappointed to say the least but still happy we had a good time at the rally.

Safe travels everyone and We will see you next year.

Al,
Thanks for your help on the pin box issue. I had lippert check ours and the tech said there was too much slop in the tri-glide and they replaced it with the flex-aire.

Thanks again
Stan

We were in site 66. I asked that the Lippert guys stop by to show me how to properly check my TrailAir pinbox. They must have checked it when I was away from the rig because they showed up the next morning with a work order to replace the pinbox. 45 minutes later, I had a new 20,000 lb pinbox installed at no charge. You can't beat that kind of Customer Support.

Hi Stan, thanks, but not really my doing! Terry Barber, our retired board member on the tech stuff had all the info on this problem and went through the replacement exercise last year.

Now that the dust has settled a little for us... we were talking about the great time we had at the rally. We enjoyed meeting new friends and reconnecting with people we had met at previous rally. Our biggest regret is that we didn't have more time to visit more. We may be prejudice, but we think RW owners are the best. Amazing that we may have nothing else in common, but we own a RW we become instant friends.

As an owner, there were several things that stood out to us. We really enjoyed the Round Tables. I like hearing what other RW owners have learned and what they have done to their coach. We also loved having the meals taken care of, so we didn't have to think about cooking. I would plan even more time to hang out and visit with other RW owners. It was so hot, it was not much fun being out at the end of the day. (can't fix the weather)

We loved working on the rally. We thank all of you, attendees and volunteers, for making it such a great time for us.

As we start work on planning the 2018 rally, please keep the feedback coming. We are looking for detailed feedback in any or all of the following areas:
- Campground - staff, services, sites, facilities, interaction with other campers
- Presentations - what worked well, what didn't work for you and what additional topics are of interest
- Vendors - feedback on current vendors, suggestions for additional vendors
- Meals - quality, value, how many meals should we provide. Obviously I expect a wide range of responses, but as a major cost driver, am interested in the majority opinion
- Costs - expanded scope results in additional costs. Based on the entire package of service work, presentations, meals, etc is it value for money.
- schedule - this year was more relaxed than 2016, which is better
- extra activities - are you interested in scheduling visits to local attractions
- ladies program - are you interested in activities for the ladies, similar to 2016.

In addition to posting feedback on the forum you can also send an email to president@redwoodrvowners.com

Andy I couldn't have been much happier about how the Rally was structured, and the quality of leadership that Lisa, Al, and Ken displayed. The event ran like a well oiled machine. My only very small complaint, and I don't unfortunately have a solution, was the constant presence of biting flies in the tent and pavilion area. Like I said, it's probably just a result of the horses and agricultural community surrounding the campsite, but if there were any way to mitigate them, it would be much better for all concerned. Don't get me wrong, that's a pretty small complaint for a lengthy and multi-segmented event such as the rally, I really do want you to know how well run it was and the superior performance of the vendors in attendance. Much better than I remember from the last rally we attended.
