President’s Summary, May 2021

The ROG board held its monthly meeting on May 11 at 11:00 EST. A quorum was present.

Financial Report. Jeff Robinson (Treasurer) shared that the April financial report reflected an income of $220 (new member registrations or renewals) and expenses of $10 (PayPal fees) for a net income for the month of $210.

Year-to-date, our income is $1,375 and expenses are $839 for a net income of $536. Our bank balance as of April 30 is $15,724.

Secretary’s Report. The board completed its review of the proposed changes to the ROG Bylaws. The proposed changes will be published through the ROG website no later than 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.

With reluctance, the board accepted Karen Stevenson’s letter of resignation. Life circumstances are changing and they may be selling their Redwood.

The board will be proposing two members for new board positions who have agreed to serve: Jeff Webber and John Andersen.

Rally Manager Report.  Lisa is hosting this Thursday’s Redwood Roundtable centered around the Virtual Rally. She is formulating a schedule of workshops and looking for ideas.

Membership. During December we had 5 membership renewals, 5 new members, and 2 website registrations, for a total membership of 329 members and 45 website registrations.

Technical Report.  Dave Connor reported all is on schedule for the Redwood Roundtable this Thursday, May 13, 8:00 PM Eastern.

New Business.  None.
