In addition to our new reduced and affordable membership rates, I am pleased to announce a new program where you can support your owners group, at no additional cost, when purchasing products at Amazon.

We have noted many members on the forum make reference to products at Amazon.com, even providing helpful links. Researching Amazon, we found that they have a couple of programs that support a variety of organisations, such as ROG.

The Amazon Affiliate program requires that we create a link from our website to their website. While some affiliates have advertising icons throughout the site, we have elected a very understated link, located in the Main Menu, currently located at the top of the left sidebar. You will not find any additional references to Amazon, or adverts on the website or forum.

When purchasing products at Amazon, you can now support the ROG, at no additional cost. Rather than navigating directly to Amazon, if you access the ROG site, select the "Amazon" tab and use the search bar to locate the product, Amazon will pay a small commission to ROG.

Summary - to purchase Amazon products and support ROG
- Access the ROG website
- Select the "Amazon" link in the Main Menu, currently at top of left sidebar
- Enter the product(s) to purchase in the search bar**
- You will pay the same price, but ROG will receive a small commission
- You can purchase any product available on Amazon, using the ROG Amazon page search bar.

Note** - In testing the system, we have noted that the search bar may not be visible when using Ad Blocking software. To view the search bar, please disable your advert blocker and refresh the page.

Thanks to Ken & Lisa, who have worked diligently these past few weeks to set up the program and get it approved by Amazon.

Thank you Ken, Lisa and Andy for making the Amazon link available. We usually buy several things on Amazon - and this is a great way to support the ROG and keep membership costs down.

I encourage everyone to use the link (Located in the Main Menu on the left - last item), as it benefits our Group in a easy to use way.

It has been 18 months since we signed up for the Amazon Affiliate Program and in the interim, we have received many new members that may not be aware of the program.

The program is explained in the initial post in this thread, but as a summary, if purchasing anything from Amazon, you can pay the same amount and also provide financial support to the ROG.

Provided you access Amazon from our link in the left sidebar, Amazon pays the ROG a small commission on everything you purchase. You pay the same price, whether you access Amazon directly or via the ROG website.

If you are going to shop at Amazon, please consider using the link on our website to access the retailer. I note this applies to ALL products, not just RV products.
