The slides usually open in the order of least resistance. There is also a selector valve near the hydraulic pump to isolate and run the rooms independently. For example, you are parked on a city street and don't want the street side slide out to open into the street , you close that valve so that room doesn't operate. See if your valves are both open.

Where is the pump usually on the slide? I looked under there and there are a bunch of wires near the back of the slide but they into a black material. If this would not be the case is there a way to manually open it? Thanks for the info so far........

Selector switches are mounted on the front of the hydraulic pump on a block. You should be able to see the knobs. The hydraulic pump is in the front compartment where the batteries and generator would be if you had one. Front compartment door behind tailgate of truck below pinbox. Hope this helps.

The knobs/valves are up high in the compartment on mine, you have to feel for them rather than see them. They are little knobs about the diameter of a nickel side by side. I'd close them one at a time & open back, there may be a bit of grit/debris in them as the port on them is very small. On mine as you feel them, the left one is for the left slide/kitchen & the right is the right slide/dining. Once you have the slides in & all jacks up check the fluid in the reservoir, it should be within 1/4-1/2" from the opening, I top it off the a 15w motorcycle fork oil (Maxima brand).
