Jim ,

that is what I was looking for.... I saw it and also saw it was $30.00 per tube... Not sure it is 3 times better than the regular $9.00 proflex,?? If so, Im in....

If you compare the specifications the 2300 & 2300MHRV look to be exactly the same. I called Geocel and spoke to a customer service agent and she would not confirm nor deny that they are the same but the specs are exactly the same. I have used the 2300 for a long time with no problems. Available at most large Roofing supply companies. I get mine from ABC Supply and pay just over $5.00 per tube. Hope this helps.

I've used Proflex and it is not the same - Proflex was very difficult to use - set up fast and unforgiving compared to the MHRV 2300. At least that was my experience. Where I've used Proflex, it is very difficult to remove - comes off in crystals.

Same here, I have used ProFlex also, IMHO the MHRV-2300 is a better product.

It is expensive since it is not a consumer marketed item, but the Redwood Techs at the Rally swear by the MHRV-2300 and I really like the application and performance of it.

I clean the joint to be caulked with 3M Citrus Adhesive Remover using a CRL216 Windshield Tool (both products also used and recommended by Redwood Techs), caulk the joint with the MHRV-2300, use a spray bottle filled with mixture of water and dish soap and lightly spray over recently caulked area, smooth with my finger (when sprayed the product will not stick to you and the application seam looks great)
I watched the Redwood Techs do a seam (using the products and method above) with a issue on my Redwood at the Rally, I have done other seams since and it works great, looks great and is holding strong.
