The two Schwintek controllers on my 38RL are located on the top level of the cargo netting area next to the inverter behind a black cover in the basement on the street side, in case that helps anyone else. Two screws to remove the cover. Looked behind the basement wall and under the bed, and finally discovered it hidden in plain sight.
I would have never found it, there is so much Chit on that top shelf it would have been hours and a lot of @#$%^&*()

I’ve been in the basement thousands of times and never saw it until I had to hunt for it. By the way, reset the controller for the big Schwintek slide and all working great.
Paul, what problem(s) were you experiencing with your slide that required you to hunt for the controller and then perform a reset?
My seals were replaced at the rally and the large bedroom slide didn’t retract in its normal way so I helped push it in and all was fine. I attributed it to the new tighter seals. Then traveling the slide slowly worked its way out on the forward side, so I began examine the motor and found it was spinning until it jammed then would move the slide. So after about 3 stops and having to reset the motor in its base, I put a larger set screw in from the outside and tightened it enough so the motor stayed put. All was great until I tried to pull the slide out again and the forward motor gave about 2 seconds worth of push and stopped. I figured out that the controller had totally lost its memory of where the start/stop positions were, so reset the controller. Ran the slide out and in about 6 times and worked perfect, but a tough learning experience when you are trying to make some miles down the road. But I have a much greater understanding of the Schwintek system.
As a follow up, I believe that when the front seal was replaced the set screw for the motor was not quite tight enough to keep the motor in place. That can allow the motor to jump out of the base either from torque or just from motion of the coach going down the road, and although this pic shows the screws lined up with the holes, the motor will rotate as it is not secured in place

In order to get the motor reseated, I had to loosen the set screw on the outside seal and had Tracy bump the switch ever so slightly to get the four motor screws lined up with the base. Pressed the motor back in place and tightened the set screw in the outside seal and the design of the slide frame keeps the motor from jumping out. Then had to re-train the Schwintek controller. Just posting this in the hopes it can help someone else.
