I've seen a few posts from some that their slides are not fully and equally all the way in when they close them.
We have the 38GK...
On our main slide for the TV, Refrigerator and Stove side, I found a way to adjust the slide so that both sides come in tight.
The end that you want to make this adjustment at is the end with the hydraulic cylinder that moves the slide in and out.
A quarter turn on the shaft made all the difference. Initially, I tried a full 1/2 turn. That brought the opposite end too much. Probably about 2". It seems that each quarter turn moves the opposite end of the slide by 1".
Fair warning...After you make your adjustments, don't be too hasty in bringing the slide all the way in unless you carefully watch the wall. If you have made your adjustments too tight, you can actually pull the wall in.
Anyway, I hope this helps...
I have a question. Did you remove bolts on both ends of the square tube to remove it from the drive shaft for drilling the new holes? It seems that would be the only way to not drill through the round drive shaft.

You will need to remove the bolts at both ends, but I did not take the square tube out...Just slide the tube toward the one end and drill the new holes. Then, be sure not to move the far end gear box. Just slide the tube back in place and put that bolt back in.
Next, use a pair of channel locks ro crescent wrench to rotate the rear drive shaft a quarter turn. Then, reinsert the bolt back in.
I hope that makes sense...
It worked on our unit. I think I might need to adjust the other side a bit more as well...
At the end of the hydraulic shaft, there are nuts you can adjust to tighten or loosen the overall fit as well. If you need a picture of that one, I can stop by and get one.
Good luck!
