Our coach has two awnings, the main one over the entrance door (36RL) and one installed on the curb side main slide. After we got back from our August California trip, the slide awning will not extend. (Main awning works OK) there is 12V present at the mini plug that the awning plugs into when the switch is activated, but no movement. The manual says to remove the motor head cover to gain access to the test terminals, but I don't see how to do that if the motor head is against the slide in the fully retracted position. Anyone have any ideas?

The "mini" plug is the female socket up in the corner of the slide? Have you tried just carefully pulling the awning out? Don't have a clue how to manually extend the awning.

Jim,

We haven't had any awning issues, so can't help with this one. Have you checked out the Carefree manuals in the Technical Library.
