Problem - on occasions the emergency brake lanyard pulls out of the switch mounted on the pin box actuating the brakes.
Solution - The brake lanyard may be too long and catches on the hitch when making a sharp right turn (frequently catches on a bolt head on the hitch). The brakes are applied full force usually at an inopportune time. An easy solution is to change out the straight cable lanyard to one that is coiled like an old fashioned telephone cord. They are available at RV stores for about $12. Then install an eye bolt or other attaching method to the hitch

I am hoping will get transferred here. Feel free to consolidate all of the working points into a single document and then we can probably close the book on this item.
