Gentlemen,

I am currently working in the background developing the Technical Library folder. As it also includes learning the software, it is a slow process, mostly by trial and error.

At present it is only a rudimentary menu, and is probably only visible to Terry and I, but once complete, it will be posted online for all Full Members to view.

One of the first areas being added is our solutions to common problems, so shortly I will be taking what we have produced to date and posting online. My apologies for the delay in actioning the responses completed to date, but once the Library is functioning, I will have future solutions posted within a couple of days.

Rob - regarding your exceptional article on air conditioning, my thoughts are to post in its entirety, but also post as individual components, as from memory it included about 4 separate components. Are you OK with this suggestion.

I have a further question for the committee, when posting the solutions I am thinking of recognising the author of each solution. Is everybody comfortable with this and if yes, do we want User ID or real name posted.

Andy,

I am not comfortable with posting names of authors. I think the answers are from the "team" and put forward by the "Club". Forums are the place for individual names.

Terry,

Good point, I can cover this in the disclaimer that I will write.

Andy - the tech library organization is taking shape and looking good! I'll chase the committee members to develop some more materials.

Thanks Terry,

Lots of trial and error, and researching on Google, but I am slowly beginning to comprehend the user interface options.

Have spent a couple of hours this morning researching adding pdf articles and may have a solution. I'm going to continue working on this one, when I have some time today.

Gentlemen,

Regarding my previous response to Terry, I have found a way to upload pdf files, but only as an attachment.

I upload the pdf file, create an article (webpage) and attach a link to the pdf file. At this time I have been unable to find a way to copy the actual text into our webpage.

Therefore, as per previous notes, to provide consistency, I would really appreciate receiving your solutions within the forum post, or as a Word attachment.

I will keep trying to learn the finer points of this software, but unfortunately I am nowhere close to being a website creator or designer.

I have drawings for the 36RL, 31SL and 36 FL when you are ready to post. They are all PDFs .

Hi Terry,

Perfect, I added the 36FL and 36FB added this morning. Can you please attach them all to a forum post or send in an email and I will get them added tonight.

Gentlemen,

As I add more solutions, I noted that some of the responses are fairly lengthy, making it a challenge to locate following articles. To enhance readability, I have added a "Read More" option for each article.
