Not sure about the rest of our countries, but on the West Coast we have just experienced a precursor to summer weather, which has us itching to get the RW hitched up and back on the road.

This is an excellent segue into a community discussion on your travel plans for the next few months.

For Judi and I, we start June 7th, for a week, at a campground in the valley outside Vancouver. Our coach has been in storage for about 18 months, so want to check every system before hitting the road. We then head up to Northern BC as far as Dawson Creek, which actually is the start of the Alaska Highway. From there we alter course to the East, crossing Canada to Sault Ste Marie, where we again alter course heading South. We arrive Shipshewana July 31st for 10 full and fun days. Having thoroughly enjoyed the 2014 Rally, this one can't come fast enough.

After the Rally, we head North and spend about 6 weeks touring Ontario, then head back across Canada, arriving BC first week of October. We will meander across BC, spend a couple of weeks in the Okanagon, sipping wine, then head home the first week of November.

We are staying a week in Oliver at Desert Gem RV then a 2nd week in Kelowna at Orchard Hills Departing Nov 2nd back to the mainland, so am hoping for late snow on the mountain passes.

Andy, you are fortunate that in "lotus land" the weather is warm, we just got back to southern Ontario from California to snow, streamers and black ice going through Detroit and I had to winterize the RW immediately as it was about 20F when we arrived home.

We are enjoying being home after 5 months on the road, the RW will be parked for a couple of months.

Al,

"Lotus Land" haha.

We spent the entire winter and it got really cold 1 day, and we even got 1/2" snow for a few hours. 😆 Honestly, fortunately it was a mild winter as I can't handle snow or freezing temps. Last week we had blue skies and mid 20C (75F). We are already cutting the grass and the bulbs are out.

Hope that snow is gone by July and doesn't return before end of September, when we start heading West for the coast.

Where are you heading this summer, as we are spending most of July and August in Ontario.

Hi Andy:

The plans aren't firmed up yet but we normally spend a couple or three weeks in northern Ontario in June or early July. We will be back home later in July and in August.

If you are in the area we should get together. I'd offer the driveway but it's full between our RW and the car and truck! As you know there are some good campgrounds nearby.

Al.

Al,

I'll send you our schedule pre & post rally. We are staying 3 nights in Stratford, which I believe is reasonably close to you

Less then 24 months and I think we will call it Full-Time and begin our adventures. This whole working thing has to stop!! We are in the process of switching over to the FT and getting all the details worked out which actually is quite a bit of work. The simpler life is just around the corner.

Steve...agree with the amount of work required for FT prep'ing. For us the effort was well worth it! There are compromises that have to be made, but for us the positives far outweigh the negetives! We have not for one moment regretted our decision to FT! It's not for everyone...but is sure is for us. Hope to see you guys at the National Rally!
