I have been using my Redwood 38 GK in Hendersonville NC as a summer home. I have it on RV Trader online. Because of its location haven't got much action. I can't figure out how to put it on Redwood Owners Group site. Please e-mail manne22@aol.com with that information. Shows like new.I need to sell for personal reasons. Lee Manne
When you post it there, it can take a little time as the moderator has to approve it.
Separately, consider taking a day or two off to relocate the RV to a different location. Sell thru a consignment center (i.e. PPL - There are others). Continue to advertise in the RV Trader or other yourself.
We have been watching 3 RV's thru RVTrader. And probably like others, we can't take the time to travel 23 hours to each location to look at them. It's a matter of convenience. Unfortunately for the seller, it may not be. If one of those 3 units were within say 5 hours drive or less, we may have already purchased one of them.
With the glut of RV's on the market, as a seller, you have to do what it takes to sell the rig.
I looked at RV Trader today but do not see one from Hendersonville...Is it still posted?
Separately again, maybe it is just a pet peeve of mine, but there can be nothing worse about looking at an RV advertisement and seeing the worst photo shoots in the world. Remember that you are trying to sell an RV. STAGE the RV. Use a professional camera. Not a phone. Close the window shade to remove reflection of the sun. Turn on all of the lights to get a cleaner shot. Use a fish-eye lens to capture more of the room. Get a panoramic view of the room. Hire a professional if you don't have the right equipment. Don't take close up shots of every detail. Be selective. If it's important, then do so. I've seen close up pictures of the microwave and dishwasher. I can see in the wide picture that you have one. I don't need to see the keypad or hinges to the door. If I see bad pics, I'll move on. I don't care how discounted a rig may be. Remember that this is my opinion. 1 of 10,000,000. But there are categories of people out there (4 primarily). You have to try and cater to each of them.
Mine's listed in the classifieds here & on several other forums, Craigslist, Rv Trader, & a couple other places, as well as sitting in the best spot in this rv park with signs in it. Unfortunately unless you're giving it away, good luck with the sale!!
I've had dozens of calls from from brokers wanting to list it for me for $99 & up, DO NOT fall for it, they just want your $99 & up. Also if listed on Craigslist DO NOT respond to any email or text that starts out "I'm in the military overseas, but", that's also a scam.
I was offered $28k for on a trade & laughed at the dealer all the way out the door.
Personally I will not put mine on a consignment lot, too much chance for stuff to disappear out of it or off of it while no ones watching it & most lots are not responsible for any damages while parked on their lot.
As I said, good luck!

Lee,
To post in the classified section.
From either the left sidebar or the top forum menu, select "Index"
In the index scroll down to the "Classified Section", which is close to the bottom. Select for sale and hit "New Topic". Then create your post.
As Greg mentioned, this section has an additional level of spam protection, so all posts must be approved by a moderator. Just a heads up - I am heading out shortly and will be out all day, so it might be tomorrow before it gets approved.
If you post it elsewhere, I can also move it to the correct spot.
Good luck with the sale.
Be patient, and as Danny says, don't fall for any of those guaranteed sale brokers types. I just get a bad taste in my mouth when I see those. I imagine an old man with a suntan and a New York accent on his Miami apartment porch lounger with a laptop raking in all of these credit card fees.
I have sold many privately, and each time the method has surprised me. Twice in December. Three times from out of state - once from across the country. Sometimes from the sign in the window, sometimes from an Ad on autotrader that expired months ago. I even had to pull my Montana out of the garage in a blizzard in Colorado to show a couple that flew in from Georgia to see it, and they bought it in the middle of December, all from an Ad on Craigslist.
Like catching fish I guess (and I"m not saying suckers), as long as the bait is attractive and the fish are biting, you only need one pole, but your chances improve with 2 or more.
