We are less than a week away from going full time in our redwood. After lots of research and reading of problems and quotes back from redwood. Most of the problems like insulation in front cap , no insulation by safe in floor , a/c problems with duck work , clothes rod placement, and lost goes on. Well just to report my new 3901WB has the exact problems. You would think redwood would address these issues after commenting on this site that they would look into problems. On a other note , what about black tank , what does everyone use for toilet paper , and what do you use to clean toilet ? I would think cleaners would combat the tank treatment .

As far as the TP question, check this out:

Slight problem, that video is five (5) years old and things change.
Many were using Angel Soft including us, but a couple of years ago they changed (new Stronger Angel Soft) and didn't seem to break down as well.
We've been using Scott since without any issues.

Use what ever paper the DW likes as long as it's not more than 2 ply, septic safe & rinse black tank thoroughly after draining.
As for black tank chemicals, mostly they are for odor control so what ever you use as a toilet cleaner shouldn't affect it.

Totally agree with TP...2 ply or less and septic safe.

Chemicals do serve a purpose. They are SUPPOSED to help break down solids given enough time. We generally use 2 of the Camco TST orange tablets. We've used several brands (including the liquid types). This one seems to work best for us. You can watch the liquids squirt right out (no pun intended) if you have the clear septic tubes. Ahhhh. Its a field of dreams moment....

I agree, given enough time they would break stuff down.
You read about folks using RidX, the parks on septic systems probably appreciate it, but unless you don't dump your black tank but every 30 days or more it does absolutely nothing in a rv holding tank.
A squirt of Dawn soap plus a couple gals of water after dumping/rinsing in the black tank while traveling works really well to keep tank clean & valve seals lubricated.
