My niece, Angelica Jopson (in law), is a Journalist/Producer for the BBC in the UK. She is part of the team which will be coming to Charleston, SC to produce a town hall style event for BBC World New Global Questions. If you want to know what the rest of the world hears and sees about us, come see in person a BBC production that will be taking head on question about: Trump’s America: A Nation Divided?

Tickets are free, but of course limited. You can submit your questions online before the event and those of most interest will be selected to be asked by people in the audience. The panel, although yet unannounced, will include notables from both sides of the aisle. This is not about taking sides, it’s about letting the world know what “We The People” think and letting the world know. The BBC is broadcast globally.

This is about letting the world know what the people in America think, not just what the big media want the world to see and think.

I know there is speculation that because of the impact of Irma this may not take place. So far all signs as I can see them is the venue is still good and the event will go on as schedule (10/13 @ 17:00, College of Charleston, South Carolina).

If you are in the area, know people that are in the area, or are going to the area to help in the Irma relief, consider coming to the event and letting people know they too can attend. If you can’t be there but have questions you’d like to ask the panel, go ahead and submit them online anyway. The topics most people are interested in will help decide which questions are asked.

I hope you are with me and want the people of the world to know what the People of the United States of America are about above and beyond the gridlock of current day politics. Here is a vehicle we can use to make our voices heard, yes divided, but still one voice!
