You didn't take this pic did you? That's what the Cadillac Ranch looked like when we were young, not now.

Your right Danny,,,,That was from a long time ago. Not only that, but they moved the entire ranch to a location on the West side of town on Hwy 40. And Atom Ant is right, they have graffiti-ed the cars beyond recognition. The idea was to show that there are a lot of things to do in Amarillo. It doesn't have to be a boring trip if you don't want it to be. Downtown alone would be very interesting...We plan to go back. There are a lot of things to do...

Holy buckets - this will turn into a vacation!

I could definitely do the steakhouse - all the mansion, train, plane, and car museums, (not a real horse fan) but I better hold off on off-road if going by myself. Just my luck I'd get stuck and not a tree in site to winch from.

Gpc, where was that auto museum where the cars were wheels down? Love the fin cars!! Hope to have a few in the future.

That's how I remember seeing pics of the Cadillac ranch, but will all the graffiti now they don't seem real artistic anymore. I agree with you, probably not worth the trip there.

If you do that 72 ounce steak and all the trimmings...It's free. Be ready for the meal! Practice!

72 oz steak would put me in the hospital............ - after Dory finished beating me with a baseball bat. She finally got me to the cardiologist after ignoring it for about 5 years.
