We are beginning to shop for an extended warranty for our RV. Any recommendations?
I know Good Sam's. Any others?

Thanks,
Karen and Ben

We have been happy with XtraRide. If you can bring it to the dealer you bought the warranty from they wave the deductible.

I have heard they are exellent. What dealer did you buy your warranty from. Explore doesn't sell XtraRide in Austin. I contacted the company, but was told I have to fine a dealer. So strange when you can contact Good Sam's and they are sending me the contract to review.

Thanks for your help and hope to see you both at the Rally,

I think you are the couple that rescued the german shepherd. We had the large long hair shepherd. We lost her two weeks ago, neuro issues.

I feel like we got a great price and value for our extended warranty from Wholesale Warranty (wholesalewarranties.com). Even though our rig was one year old they classified it as a new rig, it covers mobile RV techs and they will assist in finding help if needed. Have not had to use our warranty yet.

We bought ours from Bus Supply in McComb, Ms. They sold us our 2013 36RE and the warranty. No German Shepherd though.

We used a Good Sam extended warranty on our Redwood - replacement value for 5 years, purchase price year 6 to indefinite.

Good Sam has two products, the Dealer sale version sold by the finance office at the Dealer for X amount of years then it stops, and an after sale warranty direct through Good Sam that is month to month and typically if you store it you can raise the deductible to lower the costs during storage. The Dealer version is typically lower deductible but is term, whereas the after sale version is typically higher deductible but indefinite.

The only reason they have two, is the after sale version was the original Good Sam, and the Dealer sale version was the same stuff Dealers always pushed on you but when CW bought out all the Dealers they changed it to the Good Sam name.

I've visited with the Good Sam extended warranty and discussed the moving deductable.
Higher when stored and lower when on the road.
Thanks!
