Athletics, it's all the same in the big picture....
Just so you know, KenA has created ROGroups (located next to Member Resources at the top of the page). In that, are areas where people can gather with "like interests" and post comments, pictures, files, etc., pertaining to the group. Hobbies, is one of them, and you can create your own group if it interests you.
So far, there is Photography, Quilting, and Pilots under the "Hobbies" listing.
Other listings are:
RW Rallies
Travel planning & sharing
Food & Drink
RV Pets
Fulltime RV'ers
Add some of your ideas and interests and see what a diverse bunch of people we have here! :cheer:
Yup - come on folks let's get this going. I see some great Hobby groups starting up.
Need help, IM me. (Apologies if I am slow response, internet connectivity can be hard to come by at times, but I'm doing my best)

I'm missing something. I cannot find groups, hobbies or anything.
I couldn't either but it was right in front of me. Confusing at it looked like part of the banner at the top.
Just look at the Redwood logo and it's to the right.

Still confused, so threw in to hobbies but am not sure if I did it correctly.

At the top of the screen you should see a blue header with the ROG logo and search area. Ken is in the process of developing drop down menus in this area.
Currently you should see "Member Resources" and "ROGroups". If you don't see the "ROGroups" please advise and I will check your permissions.
Ok, got it and thanks. :woohoo:
Here is a screen clip in case anyone else has trouble.
Member resources coming soon to a menu bar near you. ROGroups available now.

I have several hobbies:
I'm currently rebuilding a 68 mustang.
I brew my own beer and and make my own wine.
Side note: still working on how to chill a pony keg and have a tap in my RW.
Jim,
Are you coming to the Rally, as we guys are heading out for a tour of local craft breweries on Aug 7th.
I'm really thinking about it, this would be my first Rally. My wife has another commitment during that time so I my be going it alone.
Jim,
I'm mostly into wine but a buddy of mine does a lot of home brewing. He thought something like this might work.
Also you could convert a dorm style cube fridge for something still manageable but with a bit more space.
Here is what he was thinking: "Your friend would put the CO2 tank inside the fridge, and only use the small kegs. They are 2.5 gallon Cornelius kegs."
I expect that you'd need to let the keg settle after pulling before you tapped it.
Just a thought or two.
Look forward to your first on the road brew party!

Having given up home brewing in favour of the ever increasing number of micro-breweries, I have a really simple solution. I drink only the best stouts, porters and mega IPA's. To fully enjoy the flavours, they should be consumed at cellar temperature, which is about 55-60F.
From memory, even Jay may agree my "warm" beer is almost drinkable. 😆
I thought about bringing a keg of excellent stout, but our local micro-brewery is sold out, having switched over to lagers (yellow beer) for the summer. 🙁 Since Shipshewana is a "dry" county, I'll be heading to Goshen every couple of days to fill the Growlers.
