I stumbled onto a Redwood that is labeled as a 2017 . . I ASSUME it is a late 2016 because it is on the lot already , and it does not have any of the updated stuff... BUT it does have a completely different paint scheme ....

Tiare RV

RV Models come out for the next year in about March or April. I don't know how they get away with that. Car models for the next year don't come out until September or October. I don't know how they get away with that either. If it's a 2017, it should not be out until January 1st of that 2017 year.

When I buy a car or RV, I always buy the same year model (i.e. 2016) as late in the year or after as possible. That way, I get a good deal from the clearance and I ALWAYS end up with "low miles" bonus for that year model when I trade or sell. In addition, I always wait until the last month and last days possible to buy. There are always incentives to get rid of last years inventory and in the winter, the dealers are always hungry...Two can play their game...same with RV dealers...Oh...And I always wait until its raining or snowing. And again, I always take screaming kids and a cranky spouse...They help as well...If you don't have screaming kids, borrow them from the neighbor...And finally, stay with them ALLLLLLL day long so that they can't get another sale. We once kept a dealer busy from 09:00 to Midnight. Finally, the GM came out and we shaved another $4000 off. Everyone was ready to go home. I still think if we had stayed, I could have shaved another $1000 or so 🙂
