Where did the desk go?

That is a stark change. I was always impressed with the look of wood in ours when you walked in. That look is gone in this one. And so are the cabinets. Other than the four over the TV, the cabinets in the living area are gone in favor of taller windows I guess. They would be doing themselves a favor putting a wood wainscot on that blank cheap looking walls.
