I heard from a Keystone employee that redwood has merged with keystone so now we have more options when it comes to having more places to get warranty work done. Not sure if it is a good thing or not I never looked at the keystone brand.
Terrible move. Cheapens the line.
This isn't new, as it has now been in place for a little over a year. When Redwood/Crossroads management changed at the beginning of last year, Thor revamped their reporting relationships.
I believe Redwood's first GM reported straight to the Thor Board, but then Redwood were joined with Crossroads, with Andy Cripe as President.
The latest Thor re-organisation joined Keystone, Dutchman, Crossroads & Redwood. Each brand is still operated separately, but are joined for purchasing efficiencies, warranty, etc.
All the Redwood floorplan and equipment changes since the rally have taken place under this structure.
My rig was to go back to RW warranty dept. for the second time in six months for the same repair (bedroom slide leaks) redwood didn't fix the leak the first time so now Keystone is going to pick it up and try to fix it at there factory in Pendleton Oregon the week of the 10th. The wall above the slide feels like it is full of water so we will see what we see in the end and now the rear window is leaking over the couch. this is not what I paid for.
I hope they can resolve this problem for you. It is a shame that these things happen. I have a friend with a 2000000 Prevost that had a similar problem and installed a new slide for him. With anything you buy nowadays and no matter the cost there are good and bad

Hope they get it fixed right this time. Keep us posted. Giving us expanded service options was one of the benefits that Ryan discussed regarding the new structure when we met at the 2016 Rally.
Hoping it works out and the Keystone factory makes it right.
Shane - is that dollars or far in the future Prevost?!!! Hope you and family are staying warm.
Nope that's dollars. Out of my league.
Actually I'm freezing my ass off here in SoCal at 60 degrees

Shane,
Don't forget the rain. This is almost as bad as our weather in BC
So how does everyone feel about Redwood's stability as a company? They have restructured their pricing model, they only offer 6 floor plans, the devision is merging with Keystone... Is this brand in jeopardy?
Although nothing is guaranteed in the RV industry, I believe that Redwood will be around for at least a few more years.
While this is the 3rd management team in Redwood's short existence, they have now been in place for a little over 1 year. At the 2016 Rally, I met with new President Ryan Juday a number of times and was very impressed. While the RV industry is selling record numbers, all the business is at the low end of the market. Over the previous 2 years, price creep had impacted sales, so he had a clear mandate.
Most of the original floorplans were cancelled and they are developing new ones. Another floorplan is almost ready, and a new front living is currently on the drawing board.
With the demise of Sequoia and Carriage, Redwood is now clearly the top brand at CR/RW.
