Quality Control - Lousy Dealership Support

Good video 🙂
Interesting video. Our 2013 36RL has been the best built of the four RV'S we have owned. All have had stuff fail however not that much different than what fails around home or with our two vehicles. Repairing stuff keeps me young!
Boy, that shoe fits about any RV! And Camping World is worthless.
One thing I will add.... I have known the GM of that particular CW for many years, in fact he sold me my first camper with slides back in 1998 when he worked for his prior dealership.
I do not believe he would leave him out to dry like that, Frank is better than that, now that CW on the other hand I can't vouch for...

And you wonder why "I" STRONGLY support REGULATION for the RV Industry.
A grass-roots effort needs to be immediately started and pursued. At the very least, safety needs to be considered. RVIA is out for the manufacturers and the suppliers. They have NOTHING to support the consumers with. Cheap quality and Cheaply installed products are a rip off. Our lives are worth more than that.
For those that think they have the "perfect" unit and no regulation is required, I respect your opinion. You must have that 1 in 100,000 unit that actually works for you. But for the masses (inside and outside Redwood), we've had enough.
I wonder how often this happens in the 5th wheel business?

Another example of Non-Regulation...
The article happened in one State. My bet is that it happens in others.
To top this, how is it legal to "sell" next years models in March of the current year? Because there is no regulation...Talk about misleading to the average, uneducated consumer...
From our experience, there are some very accurate observations in that article:
“Typical for Camping World and most RV makers. ‘We have your money, you have your coach and warranty, both are bad, but we are going to ignore you until you go away.’”
Not everyone has completely lost faith in Camping World. Andy writes, “Camping World’s CEO Marcus Lemonis either has his head buried in the sand or his people are keeping the many customer complaints from him. I think he is a very competent and honest person, and he needs to step up. CW is in desperate need of a complete company wide customer care revamp. Let’s see if he can ‘turn around’ his own company as he does with the ones on THE PROFIT!”

Our MH has a chassis VIN and date, and coach serial number and date, (and yes a year apart). In the one time I called freightliner I have to use the chassis number. Ironically, my boat trailer is a year older than my boat (also bought new), and my 2014 Redwood was manufactured 03-12-2013.
On the Redwood, we ordered a 2013 Redwood and it was assigned a vin as a 2013 Redwood. As build progressed, we were informed it was now a 2014, and in the end, it was a 2014 Crossroads because they just got bought out. There are risks in ordering - you have no idea what you will get in the end.
