Has anyone ever used one of those truck stop truck washes? Just wondering.
We use Blue Beacon a couple times during the summer. They do a good job.

I have not used Blue Beacon myself. I was told to be careful using Blue Beacon because they can use some strong cleaning chemicals that could strip off any wax. This is just what I was told. If I were to use Blue Beacon I would ask them the question about the use of cleaning chemicals in their wash to be safe.
We have used Blue Beacon many times with complete satisfaction. I always get the Rainex treatment after a professional driver in a big rig told me it makes goop and dirt slide off.
How does it dry your RW? Or.... do we just drive fast

Pedal to the metal. Actually the Rainex is slippery and water beads up and runs off. Just like treating your windshield. In 2016 Blue Beacon distributed coupons to the RW rally goers for a free Rainex treatment after a paid wash.
They have a citrus based cleaner that is not supposed to dull the shine. They used that us Friday and and we looked great. The bay manager suggested using it. Also do the rain-ex.

Have any of you folk that have used the Blue Beacon wash had any problems/issues with water spraying into the vents behind the refrigerator, water heater or furnace?
Have used them about 10 times and so far no problems.
We use them a lot - hit and miss how good of a job they do. Last time it was terrible. The citrus is just for the wheels I believe.
there is an undercarriage wash I think I would avoid on the Redwood, and you can ask to not have brushes used. At times depending on road dirt, you almost have to use brushes though.
My aunt went through with her motorhome in the spring, and lost most of here electrical but it came back when everything dried out. Some water got somewhere, so it can happen. I've never had a problem.
