Any one know of a Service Department near Kalamazoo Mich that will do Warranty Work on a Red Wood.
We are full time RV's and will be in the Kalamazoo area for the rest of Sep. As we purchased our RV in Texas and don't plan on going back I am struggling to find a service department that will do warranty work. I was planning on taking it back to Redwood and have the work done, but they have informed me I need to take it to a Redwood dealer.
Help

The best I could find: http://redwood-rv.com/locator

Looks like the nearest locations are:

Grand Rapids, MI (Terrytown Travel Center)

or

Elkhart, IN (Tiara RV)

I'm not sure about the Redwood locator, I had already called Terry Town in Grand Rapids, because I did not buy it from them, they will not do the work. Also I called Cross Roads and she give me two others dealers in the area from the locator and when I called the owner told me they don't handlet Redwoods, the other one the number was disconnected.

Plan B...

Try a Mobile Tech. See if you can't get Redwood to authorize one of these or supply an alternate.

BTW...What is the issue?

Thanks, that's a great idea. I will give it a try.
The warrant work is not preventing us from traveling, I would just like to get it done before it expires in Dec.
I need to have a fender skirt, storage door and dining room chair replaced then some other minor items fixed.

If you have the fabric backed chairs you may have a problem. We had a back break loose from the seat on one of ours. RW no longer does business with that supplier, so we had to get two new chairs.

The best place, if you can get in, is the Redwood Service Center at Topeka, Indiana. From recent reports, they will only do warranty work. Also, they are only 63 miles from Kalamazoo, MI.

Good luck.

Recent changes to Redwood's warranty response have eliminated the option for owners to schedule appointments with the factory service centre. Now we must visit a dealer and if the dealer can't handle the repair, they refer the coach to the service centre.

The latest change is that they will no longer approve Mobile Techs for warranty work, unless they are subcontracted through a dealer.

Although it is about 300 miles and across the border I would give Hitch N'Go RV in Delhi, Ontario a call. They do excellent work and are fulltimer friendly.

If the Mobil techs wanted to work through a dealership they probably would never of started their own business & if some of them would've stayed at a dealership maybe it wouldn't take 3-6 months to change a light bulb.
So much for being fulltime coaches if you have to move out for 6 months to have warranty work attempted (notice I said attempted not fixed or done).
As I said earlier, glad we bought when did while they still cared about their customers somewhat.
