WOW GipC, must have been a rainy, very hot yucky day wherever you are located by all your recent posts, appears you spent the day surfing. Good info though!

Is 2018 the last year for the Cummins engine in a Ram? If so they may sell a lot of trucks.

Had a RAM parts guy tell me that 2018 would be the last year. Not sure what he based that on...

The rumors are that Cat will be the new engine. Again, that's rumor. If so, get ready for higher prices. Both for the engine and for parts.

I really like my Cummins engine and would hate to see that go.

the puck holes are 30" front to rear and 39" side to side on the 17 ram I brought home today . Lots more area to spread the weight than the F350. and the lever system is easier to open for removal than the ford.
Would post pic's but don't know how. just a little challenged by all this new stuff and I'm only 69. Too much new stuff too fast for a plow boy.

My understanding is Cummins is going to Nissan and Cat is going to Ram. Good for Nissan; remains to be seen for Ram. I used to love the "CAT Diesel Power" back in the day and then we had them in some school buses. Horrible reliability. Hope they will have fixed all that.

Nissan? Thats too bad, Cummins always seems to partner with the B Squad. Not that Nissan is bad, but it's not Toyota.
