We have a close friend that is taking their son back to the University of Vermont this August and we all decided to make a trip out of it,..

The question I have is has anyone stayed in the state park right in or near Burlington ?It is called North Beach Campground...

After reading most of the reviews , it does not seam like a RW would fit too well in there??

Now we did find a place called Apple Island Resort up in South Hero VT that looks nice , anybody stay there ?

I am not looking to be shoehorned into a place for no reason ..

Joe

I was looking on the internet and There were 6 sites popped up. Shelburne Camping Area looked accessible. They had class A's in the gallery. not far from Burlington. Never been there. 1.7 miles from University of Vermont.

I had planned a swing through Vermont after the Rally this summer. We also considered North Beach Campground, which has good reviews, but some areas were restricted for big rigs.

We settled on Lone Pine Campground, which is a few miles North of town right off the I-89 motorway

We will also be spending some time after the rally in Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine before heading back south into the warmth of North Carolina and Florida.

I graduated from St. Michael's College, Winooski VT (1971). Haven't been back since graduation, we are due for a visit. Let us know how the campgrounds work out
Thx
John
