What the heck? I posted this subject this morning and confirmed it was on this section of the forum. This afternoon it has disappeared!

I am looking for recommendations in the area near St Michaels,
MD for a visit next September.

Wow! Really strange because the earlier post does not show up anywhere on my iPad. Not under Travel Planning or My Topics or Recent Topics.

I have no answers , but will follow this thread... we have been wanting to go to that area for a while now... The closest we found was down in Ocean City MD or Berlin MD...

We stayed in Martinak State Park near Denton, MD. A very nice park but heavily treed. Hardly anyone there. The utility sites have 30 amp service but no water or sewer. There are places to fill water scattered around the loops and a sewer drop. Lots of trails along the Choptank River and good bike riding. 38 miles from St Michaels, MD and the one and only Crab Claw Restaurant on the water.
