I have a 2018 Redwood 3881ES. I have just experienced a total loss of 120v power into the trailer. I have power at the box. The surge protector will cycle on and immediately kick off. I have not bolow a breaker in the supply line or in the trailer(that I can find). It appears that the surge protector is either sensing something or there is a short. The unit has been in a location where there has been a lot of rain over the past couple of days however there does not appear to be any water inside the unit. The power to the refrigerator is off and I have had to clear the contents. For some reason I thought the inverter was supposed to power the refridge from teh batteries. I wold welcome any suggestions on where or what to look for. Haven't been able to get through to my dealer.

Check to see if the inverter is powered on. If it's like my 2018GK it will be mounted upside down on the ceiling of the battery compartment. Have your park manager come check your pedestal immediately. It sounds like your surge protector is doing it's job. The park power can be quickly checked with a volt meter. Do not bypass and plug your coach into the park power until you know it's all ok. What model surge protector do you have? Most have LED indicators that let you know what the fault condition is.

One thing you could try before the voltmeter is to look for the main breaker (2 pole 50A) inside the breaker box. Open that breaker and see if your surge protector will allow the power to come and stay on. That will let you know if the problem is in the trailer (beyond the surge protector) or in the park pedestal or their power.

Here is photo of the front of the inverter. If you don't see the digital display press the green power button. Keep in mind that the inverter will not run the refrigerator very long with one or even two fully charged batteries.

If you have a multimeter handy here is a short video showing how to check the pedestal . . .

Use caution though as 240 volts is nothing you want to play around with. If you are at a park your manager should be able to do this if you are uncomfortable trying it.

If the fridge is empty & warm I doubt 2 batteries with inverter would ever cool it down.
I agree, have the park check the pedestal BEFORE doing anything else, sounds like the surge protector is doing it's job or the protector is fried. I've had one surge protector fried at a park that the neutral burnt off inside the pedestal.
DO NOT bypass your surge protection!!!
Once it's confirmed it's not the parks problem then you can move towards the RW.
If you've had intermittent power issues your "converter" may have not kept the batteries charged which in turn won't have power to the "inverter" to run the fridge.
Do you have an onboard generator? If so try it, that will tell you if it's on your end or theirs.
