The 31SL has a 90 gal combined gray water capacity. Does anyone know what the individual capacities of the galley and bath tanks are?

The galley and shower drain to a single 45 gal tank. The bath room sink drains to a second 45 gal tank. This is a bad design because they left the bath tank available for a washer/dryer which few people have in a 31SL. There are plumbing and tank drawings for the 31SL in the technical library of this web site.

Thanks so much for mentioning the technical library....that is great help! Do you ever equalize your tanks using a twist-on gate valve etc.?

Absolutely. We can go for a week between gray tank dumps by equalizing the tanks thru the drain valves. Very easy to install.

We have a 2013 36FL which has 2-45 gal grey tanks. We installed a gate valve just before the outlet. With the black tank closed, the additional gate valve closed and both grey tank valves open, we can equalise both grey tnks, as they are at the same level.

FYI:
Again, it doesn't apply to all models, but the MB has the two Grays at different levels. The Gray (Bath/Washer) is in the Drop Frame section next to Bath Black, while the Galley is in the Belly next to the 1/2 Bath Black (if so equiped) above the Axles. Thus you can't equalize them on the MB as the Galley would fillup the Gray.

we also have a 31 sl. Because the galley and shower tank filled up so fast and the bath tank only held the bath sink ( no W\D) I simply rerouted the shower to go into the bath tank. Easy plumbing fix in the basement. Now we have a galley tank and a bath tank, works well
