Yesterday I picked up a few parts to do some minor repairs on the trailer. While doing these I decided to dump the black tank. Pulled the lever and nothing happened. The lever had been getting harder to pull for the last little while. I partially opened up the belly to access the valve disconnected the cable from it and pulled it by hand.still nothing came out. When operating it by hand it felt like the rod had pulled apart from the valve.I purchased a new valve. so this morning in the rain I opened up the belly further to change the valve. I had a full tank so the only way to open it is to drill a hole in the opposite end from where the plunger is and use a screwdriver to push it open. I drill it push it with the screwdriver and still nothing. I got a flashlight and started checking closer and found that one side of the tank had come off the angle iron it sits on and had dropped 5". I jacked it back into position and it starts to flow. It appears that the tank dropped enough that the solids would not go up hill. Now that I had ruined the valve I changed it out. I will have my mechanic weld a couple of cross members under it to hold the angle iron together. I can see now why people are losing there tanks. If the channel they sit on spread at all the tank will drop. Very poor design by redwood. All in all a shitty morning

Thanks for "dumping" on us...

I too would be "peed" off...

It doesn't sound like it was a very "solid" job...

"Crap"...Now what?

Hey Shane!

Sounds like a "poopy" morning to be sure! Sorry to hear it "went south"... (ok, I think I'm done. 😛 )

I have contacted you privately to see how I can help...Sorry again, to hear you've had this issue!

Thanks,
Christian
