Has anyone had any experience with the Clear Flow Water Hose?

I'm looking for one or more hoses to have with in the case where I don't have water hook up but there is a water source a bit away. I've run into this a few times now and wished I had more hose.

It's available on Amazon and the reviews seem pretty good but any thoughts are appreciated.

Ken,
I tried a similar hose from Camping World, ....it didn't last 6 months before it leaked. Since, I bought all of my hoses from the Rv water filter store...expensive, yes, but really high quality hose and fittings, jmho..

Ken,

I had a similar experience with the Handi-Hose I bought from Camping World. Only took 2 quick usages before it sprung a leak.

Hoping to find a better quality one led me to the ClearFlow.

Appreciate the input.

Speaking of hoses......For general water hose use around your RW (not for drinking) what are your thoughts of the expandable hoses. Are they any good? They seem like they would be great for saving space.

I got one with the brass fittings and it is great! I got the same hose for at home and not so great. I squirted out my garage after losing a diesel fuel line and I think the diesel ate the hose. It leaked like a sprinkler the next day.

I've got a couple that I use for black tank flush & they are great for washing the RW, especially the roof, don't have to worry about scratches dragging it along the edges. No they don't last forever, but they don't take up much space. I tried a couple that were similar to the clear view ones, they looked like miniature fire hoses, & they leaked like soaker hoses after a couple uses.

I also have a green expandable hose and it works for lots of stuff just not drinking water. I agree it's nice to use when on the roof or around the truck so I don't have to worry about scratching things.
