2017 39MB , ceiling lights over island area seem to have a mind of their own when they want to come on ?
You obviously have a loose connection...The lights are 12V. Not 120V.
Start by pulling the switch. Look for loose connections or burning.
Pull the fixture down. Look for loose wires or burning there.
This is a tough one but check the socket in the fixture for a loose wire.
An a rare one...you could have defective lamps or the lamps may not be fully inserted. (Please don't tell me they are LED's...)
One last spot is the panel. You could have a loose wire, a wire that was not fully inserted into the fuse socket(s), or a fuse that is defective and barely making connections.
Keep us posted on what you find.
Physically pull and look at the fuse. I had a similar problem last summer in Williamsburg, Va. with the lights above the kitchen nook in my 2012 36RL. I had checked the fuse with an ohmeter and it checked good. I had a technician look at it while he was working on the Norecold overheat problem and he pulled the fuse and found that it had not burned completely through. There was enough of the element left to pass continuity through for the meter, but not for current. That was the first time that I had seen that happen.
