Looking for input regarding very low on board water pressure. Whether on city water or tank using pump we are experiencing this problem throughout the coach ('17 RW38RL). Have changed the on board filter and even left the filter out with no obvious difference. Suggestions welcome please.

Bob and Judy, Welcome. Have you removed the aerators from your faucets etc?? Not sure how much you have used your coach. There typically be construction debris in the pex lines that can travel to your aerators. Also on the inlet of your Shurflo 4008 water pump there is a sediment strainer. This needs to be removed and cleaned out occasionally also. If you are hooked up to city water, what kind of pressure regulator are you using? Some of the inexpensive ones don't work too well. Better ones are adjustable for pressure. Did you also try without a pressure regulator to see if that helps?? Let us know.

Chris

Thank you Chris. We are not currently using a regulator as the park pressure is not extremely high. I have not, but will, check the aerators and pump filter for debris. Will let you know.

Aerators and pump inlet clear. While I was at it, I bypassed the on board filter. Still no pressure. I am baffled.

Have you checked the winterizing valves to insure they are turned to the correct position

Chris,

Really enjoyed talking with you. Still considering the rally so maybe we will have the opportunity to shake hands.

Thank you for your suggestions. I pulled the check valves and they were clean and functioning fine. So I decided to run through all of my troubleshooting procedures again. This time when I by-passed the on board filter pressure in the coach came up. I am not sure if I finally shook something loose or what but the pressure is at least livable now. I will be replacing that unit and adding additional filtering immediately.

Thanks again.

Bob

Bob,

I hope you and Judy decide to head to Indiana in July for the 2017 rally. You will find many fellow owners willing to share their knowledge and hopefully a number of Redwood technicians working their magic, fixing a multitude of issues.
