So I installed a 50 amp plug to run to my portable generators if we lose power for any length of time. I wired the plug into the generator box , so I need to cut a hole in bottom to allow the cord to run thru. Does anyone know where to get a grommet to cover the hole while not in use, kinda like where water comes into bottom of 5er. I've looked around and can't find anything in town but most people don't understand what you are asking for.
How about using a 50amp inlet mounted on the side of the camper and run that to the transfer switch. I did something like that in the front of my Redwood to go into my inverter/charger. I just had to back it with some 1/2" ply to stiffen up the fiberglass.
