Propane Gadget - Refill 1 lb Cylinders
Do you ever use your portable grill outside using the 1 lb propane cylinders? We do on occasion. We also have the old stand-by propane lanterns (just in case).
Anyway, I found this nifty little gadget this morning. Some of you may find this handy as well on Amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/Onlyfire-Universal-Regulator-Accessory-Cylinders/dp/B00X7OHXOC/ref=pd_sim_86_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51AyeD9tGBL&dpSrc ="sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1N4230TAYAHDMBSWDAWA"
The drawback to that is once you tip your 20-30# bottle so far it has a shut off so no more fill, they are filled with liquid propane & use the vapors, save your $ & buy the equipment necessary to tie into your RW or buy another couple 1# bottles.

I carry I think it's a 10#. Pancake LP bottle.... When I grill , I hook it up. It usually lasts us almost an entire season..
Ya I have that 10 or 11 lb pancake as well. We use it for our fire pit mainly. However, I had to replace one after using just a year because the valve went bad and nobody would touch it. I've actually had two LP stations tell me they wouldn't fill it because it was too small (in other words not enough profit for them to get out of their chair). I think this year I'll just go to the standard 25 lb that can be exchanged at any gas station.
I added a tee to my curbside bottle & made up about a 25' hose & now can use the grill (or if I buy the campfire) just about anywhere I want for about $50.
