Propane Gauge:

For those that don't have one, this one seems to work pretty well on our rig. It's by Camco and is good for most any size propane tank. We have one for each tank. I switch the tanks to one side or the other. That helps to monitor the situation when you run out on the 1st tank.

Amazon.com: (About $20)

Had those on ours a few years back & they work off tank pressure so when full they work great then they go from full to empty quickly. IMHO save your $40, just my .02 cents.

My friend just traded his DRV for an Airstream & it has these aluminum 30# bottles with gauges wired to a gauge inside also.

That would be pretty cool...Any idea what brand the gauges are or where you can get them?

You would have to buy the bottles, probably from Airstream, as they are made into the bottles.

Looking at the picture, that gauge is just a screw in gauge with a sensor. If Airstream found it, we all should be able to find it. I'll do some digging...

Found a source for Aluminum propane/lp tank with 2 different types of gauges. Not cheap either. 30# is $179, add another $60 for gauge, who knows for shipping.
