We have a Winegard Carryout dish which has stopped moving to find a satellite. We did a direct connection from the dish to the power inserter, bypassing all the RW wiring and it worked fine, so my conclusion is that the dish itself is ok.
The working idea is that there is a component in the coach that is the issue, perhaps a burnt out splitter. Any ideas about where to find the splitter on a 2018 3401RL?
I have been writing this in the first person but actually I know nothing about this stuff! I am relying on my son in law who trained as an avionics tech, so please use laymans language. Thanks so much.

Bedroom ceiling light above & to the right of the tv, remove the light fixture & fish around in the attic space. I think you'll find one with gray or white cables, that's the antenna/cable splitter & an orange cable with a splitter, that's the satellite. There may be another one, but if so I don't know where.

Everyone's unit is probably a little different...On ours, there are the additional splitters in the hallway behind that light. Another in the kitchen just above the pantry light. Yet another behind the living reom TV. It a wonder we get a signal at all...In fact, the bedroom gets more channels than the living room. That's not coincidence.
Dave,
I had no spitters on any of my satellite runs. They were all orange coax in my rig (14 GK), with the exception being the run from the convenience center to the bedroom, it was Grey. Satellite signals do not pass through conventional splitters, the require direct runs.
