I really like the sewer connection that my Redwood has but is a problem to get pumped out as the pump out trucks only have the typical twist lock connections. I have made it work but has spillage. Is there an adapter or a solution to this?

We just had our first outing with our new-to-us Redwood 36RL and I am a bit undecided about the whole Lippert Waste system. On one hand the hose part appears sturdy and it can be compressed before putting it away but on the other hand I had trouble getting the head with the open/close valve to stay in the campground drain pipe. I had to use a bungy cord to keep it from tipping over which was not what I expected. It is also pretty heavy.
Looking at the Lippert info it appears this is meant to be permanently attached to the RV drain pipe so that all you have to do is to pull out the head and insert it into the campground drain but that is not how they came installed. I will give it more time and decide if it is worth keeping over the next few trips.

As you travel around you'll find that the park sewer connections are all different, 3", 4", threads, no threads, some below ground, some a foot or more above ground & some are a broken up piece PVC in the ground that you'll need the rubber donut, all of which means you have to get creative at times.
Personally when I saw that hose setup they were furnishing I didn't like it, too big & bulky, required a special drawer to store it. I was sorry they discontinued the flexible shute that came on the early ones.
