Can anyone tell me what size filter goes in the RW31SL? It is a single blue housing.

Usually they're just a normal size filter that you can get at Lowe's, Home Depot, or just about any hardware store. Walmart will probably have that size also. There are different types, depending on what you want the filter to accomplish. They're about 2 1/2" dia, about a foot long

Perhaps you may try to remove the existing filter cartridge and take that to the store for an exact match...

Unless your missing the cartridge part and that's why your asking.... I removed mine after the first trip as it was dropping the water pressure. Or so my wife said ! :S

Thank you for the reply’s. The blue housing is empty which is why I was asking. I will go to Home Depot and see if I can find a match. Follow up question, I read that getting a charcoal filter is a bad idea. Has anyone else heard that? As far as water pressure, we will see! This will be the first time we added a filter. If there is a better idea out there, please let me know. Thanks so much.

It's a 10" cartridge available at Walmart in a 2 pack in a couple different types.
I had 2 filters either side of a water softener, sediment before & charcoal after, no pressure problems & great tasting soft water.
Most parks have low pressure, 30-40 psi, some have extremely high, 60-110 psi, so I'd recommend a good adjustable water regulator, it won't help the low but will protect you from the high.
I'd recommend this;

Not this;

Perfect! Thank you! We only have the one filter. I am very interested in what you have. Would you mind sending me a photo? Your system sounds amazing. Did you install this yourself? I will be buying that regulator. I have the smaller one which does not allow adjustment. Great recommendation

Danny is correct about not using the "regulator" on the bottom, it restricts flow.

We use a charcoal filter and it works well. The filters are a standard size and can be gotten most places.

With regards to pressure, we find that the pressure is a little low in the kitchen faucet compared to the bathroom, it's a Redwood piping issue on our 2013 36RL, bumping the regulator up a few PSI solves it if the park pressure is above 60 or so.

Hello Kathy,

Here is a couple part numbers that might help you. The factory filter is a Pentair brand. Part number Pentek C1. Replacement you could use GE brand. The filters come in a dual pack for GXWH04F or GXWH20S. Part number FXWTC. You can get those filters at Home Depot.

Good luck,
Al

I actually replaced my OEM Filter Assembly with a Clear Body OMNI Filter Assembly. It allows me to see the filter and help determine if it needs replacement.
So my total setup is an Clear OMNI Assy with Sediment Filterr, Water Softerner, and Clear OMNI Assy with Carbon Filter, plus for drinking water is the filter built into the Fridge Cold water line.
