We have had so many problems with leaks it isn't funny. We have been patient and loved our Redwood up until now. It has been really hard being a full timer and try to deal with the service issues. We haven't been able to use the icemaker because the line keeps leaking, then we had a grey tank that was cracked and now I have a water leak in the basement. We have tried to narrow it down and we think it leaks when we take a shower. We can't see the leak, we can only see water coming out of the ceiling in the basement. Our unit is 16 months old and we have been in for service at least 6 times. Does anyone else have leaks? I can only hope that this is going to be under warranty. We have service scheduled for March 19 at Lazydays. I wish Redwood would make service easier for those of us that are full timers. My husband is a plumber, but is afraid of tearing the ceiling and walls out to find the leak. Suggestions are welcomed.

We have a 36FL and had a shower leak, which we assumed was the drain, but the excellent factory service centre found a pin hole in the fibreglass base. Called in a fibreglass contractor and we were on the road in 1/2 hr.

My old Redwood/Blackwood leaked under the sink and the water ran down the pex pipe and dripped and puddled in the basement area. After hours of looking underneath in the basement area I went up top and checked under the bathroom sink and bingo! Replaced the connection and no more leak.

I wouldn't hesitate to drop that ceiling. Curiosity would drive me 🙂 it might be simple, and you could avoid a trip to the dealer.

Something definitely changed on the ice maker hose supplier. Ours has never leaked in 3 years, yet others with newer ones have continuous problems with pinhole leaks. I would never inclined to replace that entire tubing.

On my FB there aren't any drains in the basement ceiling, all are behind the basement wall except the kitchen drain.

Hi Patti!

So Sorry to hear you have had so many issues. I would like to try to help possibly expedite getting this issue fixed and hopefully getting you set for good 🙂

Am sending you a private message to get some more info.

Thanks!

Christian
