Has anyone installed a Weboost 4gxRV? I do not want to put a whole in the roof, and would place the antenna on the top of the ladder and run the coax into the coach via the slide but the interior trim on the slide seems to prevent the coax from entering the coach. Any suggestions for running the coax into the RV without making a whole in the roof. BTW I can not use existing coax from batwing because Weboost has indicated that any splitters in the coax with impact the performance of the product. Also, the coax is limited to 20 feet.

Have one in our 36RL. Works great. I mounted the antenna on the ladder, ran the cable down ladder and then from ladder to rear of slide. Pull your slide in about 3 inches and run the cable inside past the weatherstripping and secure it to wall with a cable clamp that is adhesive. I zip tied the outside cable to other cables. Outside cable has plastic wire loom on it for protection.

Easy please and works fine

I am so happy you responded to me! Thank you! I was so nervous to install this product. Where did you mount the amplifier? My plan is to have the interior antenna placed on the dining room table which is where I do most of my work.

We have ours mounted in the back on the desk area we made. I've found the range to be better than Wilson suggests. I would put it on the side you bring it in and wherever is best place

Just another possible suggestion: I ran a coax down the ladder, across the back, then down the Driver's side a few feet to where a cable bundle exits the belly and travels to the rear corner of the Driver's side slide where they enter up into the slide. From there I routed it up the Desk area where we mounted the Reaper, no drilling any holes and just had to reseal where the cable bundle entered the slide. Depending on which side your ladder is mounted on, you may need an extension on the coax.

We have an MB, but there should be a cable run entering the slide on all models.

When you pushed the coax thru the slide, is there any issue with the slide operation or wear and tear on the coax? I’m ready to start installing and started getting nervous again
