I found these A/C Mod pictures on another RV forum.

Again, not the total fix for the A/C performance problems but it could not hurt and may improve the A/C units cooling a little more, especially on a hot day in direct sun.

It looks interesting, I may try this when I get back to my homebase this fall.

Using spray adhesive, bubble wrap was attached to the intake plenum, should reduce the temperature of the air intake area especially with many of our Redwoods having Black A/C Covers.

Compressor Refrigerant lines as built from factory

Insulated Refrigerant lines similar to what you see on a home A/C unit.

What we would like to do is put the topics in the correct category so it is easy to access. Also a lot of your great links we would like to put in the technical library

At one point, Ken had given me access. That is why you see so many in there...Later, It was removed. I have not been able to add or update since then. I'm sure that by now, some of the links have gone south. Also since then, I found a number of additional cool sites. Oh well...I'll share here as the subject comes up.

Gip - we are always looking for assistance in expanding the Technical Library. Please contact NW Snowbirds if you are interested in contributing articles.

I've been waiting on the 18,000 to be available again. Hopefully we are a couple of years out but they will help us in Texas.

I finally got it figured out...... Park the Redwood Coach in the RV garage early June. Don't take it out again until late September or first week of Oct. Go pick up my crappy looking 28 foot camper for the Lake and use it for any summer travel. It will freeze you out no matter how hot. :silly:
