Has anyone changed the outlet for the washer or dryer , wife just called and said dryer was not working but when she moved the plug it started then stopped. So I’m guessing the plug is broke inside. Has anyone just used a regular plug from hardware store ? Not sure if a box can be put into wall since shower is behind it. Just trying to get a game plan for the trip home.

It's not easy, as you will have to install a cut in box and there may not be a lot of room. In addition, because the RV plugs are a pass through you may not have enough slack in the Romex to do a nice job.

It would probably be easier to just open up that RV plug and fix it. It is probably just a loose connection on the spade that is supposed to pierce the insulation. Here is a poor picture I pulled from google.

PS - The Splendide dryers do stop on their own, then after a few seconds, they reverse direction. Hopefully that is not what she was experiencing.

Yeah we r use to the dryer stopping and starting as it switches rotation , no it would not start at all then when she wiggled the plug it started for just a sec then quit , she said if she held the plug at a angle it would work , I have not pulled one apart before so was looking for info for when I get back home. Thanks for the pic
