Some of the height change depends on which spring shackles you install with the SRE 4000.

Redwood typically used the 3 1/8 length Shackles on many units, if you replace them with the MoRyde Heavy Duty Shackles Part # UO12-16, 2 1/4 inch Shackles while doing your SRE 4000 installation, it will raise the height of your Redwood slightly.

Thanks Rob,
Was thinking that was the reason.

Rick

We ordered and have received our Disc Brakes. After talking with Ron, George is going to install them. Ron was very encouraging, said about 1/2 the kits he sells are owner installed. He also said he will be available for any questions.

We'll keep you posted.

Did the SRE4000 in Dec. About a half day job with no helpers.

NW Snowbirds,

I noticed you have the Mor-Ryde SRE 4000 Suspension...

In the brochure and at last weekends RV Show in Dallas, both indicate that the SRE 4000 is not rated for 8000# axles.

What are you working with that allowed this installation?

The SRE 4000 certainly looked a lot "beefier" (is that a word?) than the SRE 3000.

Looking forward to your response.

Best wishes George. If I was there, I could help you out!

George finished the brake install. We are thrilled. Just like everyone has said... night and day difference. Great purchase. :cheer:

He took about 10 hours over 3 days to install. The most challenging part was figuring out the lay out of the lines.

Ron told us when we bought them that he would be available for any questions. I called once, he returned the call in less than 5 minutes. Next question I decided to email so I didn't bother him, he replied so quickly I didn't think I had hit the send button. Amazing customer service!

I should have added Ron's contact info.

He is a good resource for tires and disc brakes.

** This is not a paid endorsement. 😆 Our forum is a great place for positive vendors.

There is probably a list of these on the website, I just wasn't sure.
