Here is a picture I took during our plant tour from this years Redwood Rally. Looks to combine many things. And the colors are bright, possibly to help you avoid walking into it??

Sure wish they'd make a lower jaw replacement for the Tri Glide.

I am real happy with my new Flex Air. . . Great upgrade from the tri-glide
But, mine is all black, no red on it at all... I like it better then the red
Joe,
You had the Tri-Glide...
On a scale:
1) I wish I had not spent the money. It's worse than it was.
3) I wish I had not spent the money. There is some improvement but not enough for the price. A 25% Improvement.
5) This is a 50/50 purchase. Some good/some not so good. A 50% improvement.
7.5) A good deal. I am satisfied with the improvement. It is different and an improvement. A 75% improvement.
10) This was night and day! a 100% improvement over the previous model.
How would you rate the new hitch for the value?

What happened to 2,4,6,8 and 9
Greg ,
It's a solid 8 . . Better then the 75% offered... Was it Night and day ? No, I really did not like the feeling that the tri-glide gave me whe it was "gliding".. BUT what I like MOST is the way it is made... Just the fact that all that torque from 16k gliding/sliding forward and back is no longer on 6 pivot points , hollowed out for grease...
So in a nut shell, yes it was worth the cost I paid. . .

Good to know!
I almost went that route, but after Smart Weigh and realizing that our MB is pushing 19K, I'm now glad I have a Hitch and Pin Box both rated for 24K vs my 20K Reese and 18K Tri-Glide.
And for us, the change is a "Night and Days Difference", but was more $$$.
I went same route as Michelle. Looked at replacing the TriGlide with a Flex Air but also was looking seriously at a new hitch.
Decide to go with a MorRyde Pinbox and a Comfort Ride Hitch. As said above - night and day difference. Old setup was TriGlide with 25 k Reese Elite.
I liked it so much that I'm now the Sales Rep for Comfort Ride Hitch !! If you're going to be at Tampa Show stop by the booth and say hi.
Vaughn
Are you coming to Pomona ca in October
Hi Shane, not this year. Rick is busy in the plant building hitches we sold at Hershey and also doing the body for his Volvo hauler (wait till you see this truck) and I won't be able to do extended travel till next spring.
We will both be at Tampa and then he is planning on the Phoenix show and possible the Northen California show in the Spring. I may be at the Phoenix show also, but will fly out if I do
Vaughan
