I'm getting the rear tires on our F350 dually replaced in the next two weeks and would like some input from someone who can help. Accessing, removing, airing the tires if necessary, and replacing the TST cap sensor (no fill pass through) on the rear dual tires is extremely difficult with the stock valve stems that came on the wheels from the factory. Anyone found a reliable, and safe solution to this problem? Thanks.
We also have the same issue. I initially tried flexible extenders that I fastened to the hub caps (didn't work well).
I originally had the anti theft stuff on the sensors, took them off so that I could easily turn the sensors to take them off and on.
I also insist that the tire folks offset the inner and outer valve stems when re-installling the rims on the truck so I can get to the inner stem easier. Putting the sensors back on is still a pain!

Danny (travelin Texans) showed me a pic of a tool he made to get at the inside one easier. I think I'll try and make one instead of using the valve extensions. I'm going to have the tire installers offset the valve stems to get a better shot at the inside one.
Yes, that was the "wrench" that I threw away when I took the sensors out of the anti theft "cover". Prior to that I cut off the handle on that wrench and just pressed it onto the sensor and turned the sensor with my hand.
I had a couple of sensors stolen in Mexico (by an American guy) 10 years ago, but it hasn't happened in the US or Canada.
